There is a long history about American government where people needed to decided which laws did individual states have a right to pass. The different laws for the same issues can vary due to different populations, resources, geography, finances and history. The Southern states tend to be more liberal with gun laws because of roots from the Civil War. Cities with larger and richer populations have different needs to protect. It is very important to know that laws can vary from state to state as you travel! You don’t want to be breaking a law and not know it!

Health issues are a very serious because there is a still a lot of unknowns. I feel that the strongest evidence doctors have right now is the genetic link between parents and children. However, I also believe that there are many other factors we need to consider. We should look at the types of foods the mother ate while she was pregnant, pollution in the community and medicines the infant was exposed to. There is still a lot to learn about the bipolar disorder and the genetic factor is just the foundation.
